Kuching, Sarawak on Borneo

I'm back in Kuching (means cat in Malay) and it feels great after being away for 11 years.  The city has grown and now has clean modern suburbs; high rises; and most likely, traffic jams and a rush hour.  The great thing is that the old city centre is much as I remember it.  The boardwalk, water taxis, Chinese temples, and tiny colourful pastel shops remain.  It still has character!  Hooray!!!
