This older style fale has traditional design and functionality.  It differs from its modern counterpart only in the thatched roof construction.  This one is a bit more sparsely furnished than the previous one, but if you look carefully you can see that it is still in use.  In the middle of the fale where the steps up are located, you can see a man lying on his back with his legs (light coloured long pants) hanging over the edge, feet resting on the top step.  Also, on the left end extending to the left from the roof, you can see the red cord that supplies electricity to the home.
