Downtown Bandar looks pretty much the same as any other city you might find in Australia and North America.  Looking at the signs, you can see the names of familiar phone companies, Coca Cola, and even the big red DQ of Dairy Queen.  The only real giveaway is the Arabic on the street sign at the left of the image, and a couple of women wearing head scarves.
